Arnold Palmers (mix of iced tea and lemonade) are a staple summer drink that go great in many boozy mixes. Monarch Rooftop Lounge master mixologist Genese DeBeaux took that idea to the next level with her Palmer-inspired cocktail with fresh peaches.
Summer means warm weather, and warm weather means tequila. Monarch Rooftop Lounge master mixologist Genese DeBeaux had summer in mind when she created her Monarch Margarita. She makes her recipe special by muddling cucumbers and rosemary simple syrup to give it an herbal, summery taste. But the tweak we love the best is how she rims the glass with celery salt and sugar.
Memorial day weekend is the perfect excuse to dust off that sexy outfit and head out for a night on the town. The weather is just right for a moonlit rendezvous at one of New York City’s trendiest night spots. Though there are many to choose from we recommend Monarch. This rooftop and indoor lounge are located on the 18th floor of the Marriot Courtyard, Herald Square.
“I usually don’t gravitate toward wings when eating out (it’s messy, I’m clumsy), but these looked too enticing to pass up. The tender, boneless bites layer a mouthwatering chili limi glaze atop breaded, all-white chicken meat and come served with a side of chipotle aioli for dipping.” –Rakhee Bhatt, Assistant Online Editor
